"Under the Skin" was a finalist for the 2023 Pulitzer Prize for a n0nfiction book. I was honored to be in the company of this year's winner "His Name is George Floyd" by Robert Samuels and Toluse Olorunnipa. (That's us in the photo at Columbia.)


I found out about the Pulitzer while waiting in line at the post office on the date of the announcement when I started receiving congratulations texts! I had no idea why.
